Tools in Order!
Ok, I have to say that I have waited almost 30 years
to have the garage that Ihave always wanted. Lost
tools are a common problem for most people I
know, that is not to say that some have not had
good control over their tools. But I must confess
that kids have a way to use your tools and never
put them back. I have always gotten so mad when
doing something and not finding a tool to finish the
job cause it went to that great tool place in the sky.
My new tool shop was put together this summer, much to my great pleasure. I have 14 drawers of
the most well laid out tools, wow what a feeling. In the picture above you can see that there is no
loosing a tool from now on. I have found that there is no greater feeling for me than to go out to the
garage to do,fix, work, and find every tool in it's place. I never knew this could make a man feel so
good inside!
In this picture you can see the new 8 foot
work bench complete with 8 foot lighting. It
may look messy to some but when you
consider that every part for the new monster
engine I am building is on the bench, it is
good. I also have a new grinder metal band
saw, and lazer guided drill press. What you
don't see is a new two plane sander and the
new hydraulic tube bender! The blue
shelving boxes contain all the new items for
the buggy frame that is going under the
Lone Star Buggy. Over all, welders, sanders,
drills, cutters, and tons of new parts..... what
more could an old dude like me need!
Well, no excuse now. I am going to have the best time of my life in that garage, a man's
space for a man's toy. Life just don't get better.
