Howdy! Inside this website you will gain an idea of what I consider to be important to not only safety but practical information to have your Buggy serve you well. The comments inside are for guide lines and reading. They are here for safety and fun, I am not telling you what you are to build but rather things I have used over the years, ENJOY! I have seen some really well built Buggies in my forty years of enjoying this sport and I have also seen some real bad ideas that have caused injury to not only the driver but others as well. What good is a sport if you get hurt? One major hurt and you are ruined with medical bills, loss of friends, perhaps family, or have damaged others property. I call this my Dallas perspective. Inside you will find not only stories of friends and Buggies, but you will also find some ideas that will help you build a safe and dependable Buggy. I know the Internet is full of idealologists who think they know what their are talking about. Some have some good ideas. I have watched over the years and have discovered that some who came up with an idea and got away with not getting hurt often state it as fact ( like dropping the front end without check the camber ), or they found "a sweet deal" only to lose money and get no parts, or get some piece of junk off the net, or all the pieces are not there, that they alone have been wronged.
